interestingly, only the rpi has GuiHeight/width/GuiOffsetX/GuiOffsetY in the 
settings table of mythconverg

all other profiles set GuiVidModeResolution to 640x480 or 1440x900

setting GuiVidModeResolution to 1920x1080 & removing the others doesn'tchange 
anything: video is still up&left

this is with peter's deb; curtis's tar yeilds a gui spilling off the screen 
bigtime, but @ least it's centered, and the video is correctly positioned, altho 
oversized
