Thanks Peter.   I will look into your enhancements on the raspi/0.27 branch.

Do you have a rough estimate when your next package/tarball for 0.27.x
will be ready?

In the meantime I will try to merge your raspi/0.27 enhancements with
the LVR fixes-0.27-rpi2 branch.
