Interestingly I tried using these two parameters and I did not observe
any difference.

Were you able to adjust these parameters so that the entire MythTV GUI
is visible on the physical screen?

>From Peter's suggestion I tried changing *Setup -> Appearance* and was
able to get this working by changing the following two values:

   GUI width (pixels)
   GUI height (pixels)

Neither the GUI X offset or GUI Y offset made any visible difference, at
least with eglfs which is what the tutorial uses.

I added Peter's suggested parameters to the tutorial.
