I had no problems getting MythTV 0.28 to record from IPTV using
mumudvb on the same box.  Is your IPTV coming from the same PC as your
mythbackend?  If not, the packets have to negotiate the network
between (including any firewalls), and your log seems to indicate a
network problem rather than a setup problem - mythbackend is simply
unable to connect to the address.

In any case, can you run VLC on the same PC as mythbackend and get
IPTV?  Use manual configuration in VLC copied from the MythTV setup,
to confirm there are no typos.

I have put a copy of my log for a successful connection on the same PC
here for you to compare with:
