Hm.... On the lirc list [1] we have found that a the 4.6.0 kernel update
breaks the output from the kernel decoding in a way that makes lirc
*drop* repeated events. This is something different, though.

OTOH, when I test the 0.9.4a version using the devinput driver I cannot
reproduce the keybounces. Each and every press on the remote gives
exactly one event using irw or ir-keytable. Using the distributed
devinput.lircd.conf or the one produced by lirc-make-devinput doesn't
make any change.

So, what's the difference? Different kernel driver behavior? In that
case ir-keytable should show the keybounces (not likely).
LIRC configuration? Wrong devinput.lircd.conf? Multiple
devinput.lircd.conf? I have no clue.

A log from ir-keytable -t when pressing one button on your remote would
be helpful, together with 'uname -a' output.

Cheers!
