Correct. 


Check the Cisco DTA page, IR Toy, Hauppage 1950 and Lirc Channel changer pages for one way to do this.  They should all have references to each other.  Certainly was not easy getting it all working, but it is documented now.


Next, monitor your mythtv logs for failed recordings.  My DTA has locked up twice in the last few months.
