You may need to imagine harder.

Setting the autoincrement value to 2(*) is commonly
used for various replication strategies, and likely
a deliberate act (standard configure script or shared
database engine between mythtv and other apps).




(*) Or some other value appropriate to your
replication strategy.  One typically also sets the
engine offset value.
