in thread i gave above, towards end you will see someone posted a pre
compiled fix. just download it and install with pacman -U and it will
replace your current qt-5. you may want exclude

yikes.. yes well then it is something you'll have to do with the abs.
you may be better off to put those flag statements at the bottom of
/etc/makepkg.conf. but that will solve. this was driving me crazy till
i saw that thread in arch forums. been perfect since.
