An interesting thing happened when I tried to backup the mythconverg
directory.

cp: error reading ‘program.MYD’: Input/output error
cp: failed to extend ‘/home/david/tmp/mythconverg/program.MYD’:
Input/output error

I think my hard drive might be bad.

I forced a file system check on the next reboot and rebooted several hours
ago.  It's not back up yet.  :(
