AFAIU If you want the BE to manage your files correctly, all your
recordings should be owned by the backend user "mythtv"

Clearly this is not the case..

FYI to select multiple files fast (to add to playlist etc) can use the
</> key. The <,> & <.> keys (shifted these are "<" & ">") cycle thru'
groups.
