So, after a couple more hours of digging through mailing list archives
and trying options, I feel like I'm very close; the tuner is able to
record video from analog cable in Mythtv, but for some reason, it just
won't record audio. I get a bunch of entries like this in the
mythbackend.log file:

I know that ALSA device hw:2,0 is the proper device for the audio,
because if I record it manually with arecord and play it back with
aplay, it plays the sound for whatever Myth is recording. The sound
output on the box is configured properly; I can play back OTA recordings
from my HDhomerun without any problems. It's just getting these "Device
or resource busy" errors when attempting to open and record from mythtv.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is an ALSA/Pulseaudio issue, but I
don't know where to look to debug it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your time and expertise,
