Actually, console developers specifically removed the HDCP restrictions
on in-game video output (only) because they realized that having people
stream their sessions on Twitch was a) desired by the consumer and b) a
huge boon for them (free advertising--after all, some of these Twitch
viewers will spend anything to be like their streaming heroes).
