With 'festive' recording over, I've installed 0.28-pre-3338 there.  It 
looks ok but the frontend makes persistent complaints like:

  MythFontProperties: Failed to load 'Droid Sans', got 'Droid Sans 
[unknown]' instead
  Location: /usr/share/mythtv/themes/MythCenter-wide/osd.xml @ 11
  Name: 'medium'  Type: 'fontdef'

The font files are:
/usr/share/fonts/google-droid/DroidSans-Bold.ttf
/usr/share/fonts/google-droid/DroidSans.ttf

and osd.xml has:

     <window name="program_info">
         <fontdef name="small" face="Droid Sans">
             <pixelsize>22</pixelsize>
             <color>#EEEEEE</color>
         </fontdef>
         <fontdef name="medium" from="small">    *problem here*
             <pixelsize>28</pixelsize>
         </fontdef>

Any ideas?  Perhaps I need ln -s "Droid Sans.ttf" "DroidSans.ttf"    ?

MythUIWebBrowser: disabling plugins

(I rarely try to use MythWeb)

and

QXcbWindow: Unhandled client message: "_GTK_LOAD_ICONTHEMES"
