One does not air dirty laundry in public (which is you(*)),
especially when the facts would take substantial time
to verify (and are under the control of one of the parties).

It will be handled out of band (and as long as those two
are in the various organizations, they will remember).
The problem, of course, is the institutional memory will
be lost (and you get to play the game all over again)
when one of them moves on and some new issue is
introduced.




(*) Although it is just a bit surprising that they were
sufficient aware to recall you were on the CC list.
Often people forget, and all sort of stuff leaks out.
