The NUC is a 4.5” x 4.5” x 1” PC with just LAN, USB and HDMI I/O. It has a Core i3 and 4GB DDR3. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/nuc/overview.html <http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/nuc/overview.html>

Normally in Linux I’ve used VAAPI on Intel internal graphics, but this PC is running Kodibuntu 15.2 and I just added mythtv-frontend to it so I could edit the videos before transcoding. My backend is basically a headless unit in a closet.

I went back to test and I only have one VAAPI and when I tried to play the test videos on the Video Playback profile, I get errors. I’ve attached some of the log file from the frontend.
