No, that means to skip marking episodes as repeat showings.  There's no 
good reason to use this and doing so would mess up scheduling. It's 
probably only there for people with seriously underpowered systems whose 
hardware can't provide a proper MythTV experience.

No, that means to update program listings only and not to update channel 
information.
