I'm sorry if my misunderstanding of the situation has sparked a problem.

In any case, I am extremely grateful for the many hours excellent work which both the MythTV and MythBuntu teams put in, to deliver a product that is now close to being an appliance!

Many, many thanks to you all!

Really? Did you already forget the thread you started back in October?

I didn't read the whole thread and don't know the final outcome, but I
can understand why people might think there might be no more ISO's anymore.

BTW: A full quote with a one line reply is almost as bad as top posting...

I remember the post and I'd like to point out a few things. 1) We NEVER said we were going to stop, we said we were thinking about it. You drew a conclusion from that which you probably shouldn't have. 2) You didn't read the full thread. Had you read the full thread, you would have seen other people step up and offer their assistance in testing the ISOs. So you drew your conclusion from incomplete information. I'm not entirely sure why it falls on me to educate people that there WILL continue to be a Mythbuntu ISO, considering I never said there wouldn't be. I simply floated the idea on a mailing list. It's worth noting that if we did decide we were stopping ISOs (and let me be clear here, I am in no way implying that we are not doing ISOs anymore), that we would announce that information on our website along many other channels.  As for the brevity of my post, I'm unsure why I need to write a dissertation on a statement that can be completely refuted by a single sentence. Ironically, it's this sort of response that takes time away from doing actual work.  --Thomas Mashos
