I recommend setting up skip buttons on your remote, if you skip forward and
it goes to far then hit the skip back button and then use the 30 second
skips to get to the right place.

As much as I love commercial detection it is too much of a pain to deal
with when it goes wrong so it is easier to skip yourself when a commercial
comes on.
