I just realized I misstated a bit.  I applied the patch attached to the
ticket, which updated v4lchannel.cpp with the additional condition for the
new driver, and I'm still seeing these errors.  Actually dropping in the
entire v4lchannel.cpp file from the master branch into 0.27 (like I
originally said) results in compilation errors.  I just wanted to clarify
that I was using the patched version.
