I tried compiling the source code from the master branch, but I ran into an
error:
In file included from freesurround.cpp:33:0:
../libmythbase/mythlogging.h:5:19: fatal error: QString: No such file or
directory
#include <QString>
^
compilation terminated.
Makefile:346: recipe for target 'freesurround.o' failed
make[2]: *** [freesurround.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory
'/root/mythtv-master/mythtv/libs/libmythfreesurround'
Makefile:49: recipe for target 'sub-libmythfreesurround-make_first' failed
make[1]: *** [sub-libmythfreesurround-make_first] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/mythtv-master/mythtv/libs'
Makefile:67: recipe for target 'libs' failed
make: *** [libs] Error 2
I have libqt4-dev installed, which I believe provides QString, so I'm not
sure what's up. This didn't happen when I was compiling 0.27.
I see that the commit for this issue only affected a few lines
in mythtv/libs/libmythtv/recorders/v4lchannel.cpp. Can I simply copy the
updated version of that one file into the 0.27 source tree I used before,
and recompile?
Thanks!
Dave
