Hi All

my last issue releated to the subject or perchance to the mythbuntu 16.04 0.28 saga

Scan the directory of Movies and add to database: all works but scan of 15 movies takes 15 min then add to database takes another 15 Min!
CPU idles hovers around 96% idle, /store (which is for myth) is 500G about 20% full. Even top rumbles around sometimes mysql some times mythbackend some times others head the list.

At end of scan repeat with same (long) timings

Root and /store are ext4.
Anybody seen this? any ideas of what is going on?
