Despite my backend being headless, and my doing the upgrade over ssh,
the basic Ubuntu part of the upgrade was flawless.

I simultaneously upgraded the RPi3 frontend from 0.27->0.28 using the
PPA (thanks!)

When I started the new frontend for the first time, the basic menu
system worked fine. However, I could not watch recordings or live TV.
It took me a while of looking through the logs and mythtv-setup to
realise that although my ipv4 address was static, the ipv6 was not,
and 0.28 had suddenly saved one which was no longer valid. I removed
it and all was well.

Now the only thing that doesn't work is Mythweb (yes, WebFrontend
worked out of the box).

This showed my how to solve the first problem:

And this the second:

I'm now looking at this in /var/log/apache2/error.log:

suggests that the db_server, db_name, db_login, db_password must be
set incorrectly in /etc/apache2/sites-available/mythweb.conf, but I
see nothing untoward.

Does anyone have any insight?

Regards

Jeff
