Hi,

Oh, I'll have a look at that app... sounds interesting.

I have set a crontab that executes a one-line script of
 DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI2 --mode "1920x1080"
crontab is set to run every minute.

not exactly elegant but I couldnt find a way for xrandr to report that
the output is deactivated and so only run it when required. However so
far running the command every minute has not causes any glitches and
except for being patient for up to a minute doesnt require my SO to do
anything new...
