someone else posted a similar question and they found "Disabled compositing
and added filter "vdpaubuffersize=32"" fixed their issues.

My zbox (atom nvidia ION) is working perfectly also, only issue I have is
it wont save the video res and keeps defaulting back to a lower res on
reboot which makes the aspect ratio look all wrong.
