Your version of mythfrontend looks like a default build for conventional
graphics, and not specifically for Raspberry Pi graphics.
For Ubuntu Mate 16.04 Raspberry I do not know of any prepacked builds.
There are builds for Raspbian Jessie and Ubuntu Mate Raspberry 15.10 (Wily)
