This is similar to what I get on my CentOS 6.6 machine and the remote
button does not get remapped.
if you now run:
#> ir-keytable -r
I think you will see that it tried to remap the button but didn't use
number 0x800f0423 that you had input.
and tetsing with:
#> ir-keytable -t
confirms that it doesn't remap that remote button.
On my MintOS machine the command works without the "invalid argument"
warning and the button gets remapped.
