Okay okay okay. In the context of this thread, when a CableCard tuner is
used and no cable box is involved, you cannot properly record copy
protected content. No need to subscribe to copy protected content. I think
I covered everything.

BTW, I am pretty sure I got the STB model wrong since I don't think the
4250HDC is a DVR.
