Yes...the original failed recording was on tuner 3, and that was the
only available tuner when I tried to restart it.

This doesn't happen often for me, but I was on 27.3 for quite some
time and I know for sure I've had failed recordings that I was able to
delete and/or stop without any issues. Over the years on various revs
I'm sure I've had this happen many times without any issues.
As I explained, the two failures I've had recently both did very odd,
though different things. That is, where one got stuck in a
"recording" state, and one wouldn't even let me into the menu to stop
or delete it, and could only be deleted from mythweb. Really odd.
