Well I apologize Alec. Somehow I keep missing your answers or am 
distracted by something else.

The naked PCB of the Toy is a bit ugly. The IguanaIR, if you say there 
is a kernel driver, should be definitely workable with the addition of a 
USB extender cable. These things need to be moved to somewhere around 
the TV so the user can point the remote at it.
