    Apple bent over and went ahh for the DRM cartels? Since when?
MacOS has always been in the same boat as Linux when it comes to
these formats. That includes BD and CableCard.

    Nothing has changed.

    So there's no reason for Linux not to be supported.

    The "protected path" argument has always been nonsense for
any of the other services (Netflix,Hulu,Amazon).
