The CX2388x chips are multi-function PCI devices, with the
"base"/"bridge" function (the .0) being just one of the devices
exposed.  I believe you can get all the details from Conexant
(probably after you sign the usual NDAs), or, perhaps, look
at the cx88 driver in Linux.
