I recently got mpd running on the OpenWRT router at my girlfriend's
place along with a USB audio device, and I will say, for playing music
it's great, and mpd manages it's queue, so you can shutdown the
computer or close the app on your tablet/phone, and mpd will continue
playing. plus no need to turn on the tv.

I'd still like an improved MythMusic interface, and better large
library handling, but with a small enough library the interface isn't
horrendous, it just takes some getting used to.
