[mythtv-users] HELP - connected slave and all recording expired

Hi Mike

I changed config.xml on the old box, ran mythtv-setup and changed the
master backend IP address to the new master.

I then deleted the DVB-T and DVB-S cards I'll no longer be using, leaving
just the analog half of an HDR2200. I then went to delete the default
storage group but couldn't because it was listed as create default - it
seemed to have forgotten that it had a local one.

I can see no way of distinguishing between master and slave storage - the
frontend tv/settings/status screen lists both but in mythtv-setup on both
master and slave there is no way to see them as 2 separate items so that
the slave storage can be deleted.

It looks as though its only the master which has expired all its
recordings, the slave still has them on the disk (no idea why) so I can at
least rewind the whole rsync and restore database to the new master to get
them back.

Looks like the master backend suddenly required several penta bytes of
free space! What I have configured is 20G. Here are a couple of
