If you want to go this path, purchase from Amazon.com. That is what I did.

I have an original Zotac ION and the ECS LIVA. The ION with VDPAU is way
better than the ECS in my opinion. It is rock solid whereas the ECS does
not upscale anywhere near as well. Interlacing is also poor compared to
VDPAU.
