[mythtv-users] Anyone using an HP MCE IR receiver with a Sky remote control?

Curious to know if any UK users are successfully using an HP-branded
Media Center USB IR receiver with a Sky+ HD remote control?

I picked up an HP MCE IR receiver last week for a new frontend but
it's completely ignoring both of my Sky remotes. It works perfectly
well with an old Hauppauge RC5 remote.

The HP IR receiver I'm using identifies as a Fintek Media Center Ed.
eHome Infrared Remote Transceiver (1934:5168) and is supported out of
the box by the kernel. (An image of the receiver is here:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61sjjw1u%2B2L._SL1000_.jpg)

Sky remote controls do not use the standard RC6 protocol but the
related RC6-6-20 protocol, so it might be the case that this
particular receiver does not understand this dialect of RC6.

I have a Topseed USB IR receiver (model is TSES-IR01 with USB ID
1784:0001) which works fine with the Sky remotes, so I'm trying to
establish if the receiver might be faulty, or just does not understand
the RC6-6-20 protocol.

Cheers,
Nick
