My understanding of how multirec works is that it is not done by the
tuner, but by MythTV.  Tuners can have support for filtering the data
streams, but that is not necessary for multirec to work as the CPU can
do the filtering if the tuner or driver does not.  So any digital
tuner should support multirec, as long as it has working Linux
drivers.  Which the WinTV-Aero-m seems to have:
