Hi,
The changes in this commit only have an effect if you are using a
recording profile (defined in mythtv-setup) that has the recording type
set to something other than 'Normal'. So the easiest way to work around
any problems with this commit is just to use a recording type of 'Normal'.
If this commit is causing problems, it must be because of
non-video/audio/subtitle packets that VLC expects that are now being
stripped. A sample of a good, unstripped recording and a bad, stripped
recording could be very useful in tracking down what VLC is expecting.
Does VLC refuse to playback the recordings completely?
I don't know whether it makes any difference but are you using VLC on a
PC or on a mobile device? I don't have any issues with VLC on my PC and
the total duration is also shown correctly.
Richard.
