[mythtv-users] MythtTV on Gentoo: resources?

Based on this input, I went ahead and created a user named mythtv and 
added that user to the indicated group. Yet Karl now interjects:

My MythTV compilation finally finished but I've not so far managed to run 
it (still trying to get X compiled and operational). If Karl is correct, 
do I need to take some action regarding the mythtv user I created, such as 
deleting that account? Are any sort of conflicts or confusions in store as 
a result of both me and the MythTV ebuild creating a mythtv user account? 
Clarifications will be appreciated. Thanks.
