[mythtv-users] hdhomerun channel scan failing

I have an HDHomerun (original version) that I use for Over-the-air
channels. When I try to scan for channels in mythtv-setup, any channel
that should have something fails with "timed out, no channels". I tried
increasing the timeout to a ridiculous 10 seconds but that didn't do
anything to help.

The channel scan seems to work fine using the command line tool.
'hdhomerun_config IP_ADDR scan 0' shows numerous channels and subchannels.

This may or may not be related - 'hdhomerun_conifg discover' fails, but
I can put in the IP address and it will work. Running the
hdhomerun_config_gui from a windows machine auto discovers it just fine.

The OS is Fedora 21. I am fairly certain I disabled the firewall. I went
so far as to completely uninstall firewalld. There are no processes with
the name "firewall" or "iptables" in it.

Thanks for any suggestions!

-Kristo
