Thanks for the quick response! I'm playing the files directly from the
file system so I don't think mime types or file extensions would come into
play. That said, my new HDPVR recordings still have a "mpg" file
extension. Does that mean anything? One thing of note is that VLC can't
tell the time length of the new files.
