This only affects the Myth menus and subtitles, it does nothing with the video.

You will definitely have to manually select 3D SBS on the projector. There is a way to signal SBS in a broadcast signal but MythTV doesn’t do that, my Sky HD box used to switch automatically on the Sky 3D channel, well until I cancelled my subscription ;-)
There used to be a funny with the W1070 where SBS 3D only worked with a 1080i source not 1080p but I thought they fixed that in a later firmware, maybe the W1300 firmware is closely related, might be worth a look for newer firmware or some related hint.
