Yes. I've seen that low ratio too when entering live tv, for both vaapi 
and ffmpeg, and it is usually problematic. If vaapi is being used, and 
you pause for a few seconds before continuing, the ratio is back to the 
21/2 level and the viewing is smooth. I wonder if this means the live tv 
should be building more of a buffer before starting to play? I really 
don't know - just another data point for the developers.
