We have to face the fact that more of these very low power units are becoming 
available and they have abilities undreamt of when mythtv was first conceived.

Although it would be easy to say "we won't develop against a host of low-cost 
devices that might not be around long" I think that's not going to be the case 
with the Rpi project. Some kind of assessment might be in order.
