Speaking for myself I have no problem with restructuring the 
documentation to make it easier to use or maintain. Splitting it up 
would make it easier for groups of users to maintain areas they are 
interested in so I'm all for it.

Developers are always willing to help either via email or the #mythtv 
IRC channel.
