I can assure those in the more backward parts of the world that h264 works
fine in HDHR and mythtv. Your video card would have to be quite old to NOT
support h264 acceleration. And if it doesn't, your CPU would have to be
quite old not to be able to decode on the CPU.

I am seeing questions floating about now about h265 being broadcast in
Europe.
