[mythtv-users] Anyone Using LIRC on CentOS 6.6?

Well, yes. OS version upgrades always mean kernel upgrades. And I see 
that the EPEL packages no longer include kmdl packages.

The kernel driver modules, mceusb, is loading and creating /dev/lirc0. 
And I think input is being received as I run irw:

I do see in the log:

Jun  1 06:04:04 marble lircd-0.9.0[1787]: lircd(default) ready, using
/var/run/lirc/lircd
Jun  1 06:06:08 marble lircd-0.9.0[1787]: accepted new client on
/var/run/lirc/lircd
Jun  1 06:06:10 marble lircd-0.9.0[1787]: failed on bit 1
Jun  1 06:06:10 marble lircd-0.9.0[1787]: failed on bit 1

Seeming to indicate some kind of error.

I was hoping to find someone with a working install and find out what 
they've done.
