[mythtv-users] Occasional pts trouble with UK SD recordings

Hi: For several years I have been using a Project-X based script to
edit my SD recordings; it works, and I never have later problems with eg
DVD creation. But it fails if the pts jumps backwards. It's done so
for years, but it happens only very rarely. In the last few days I've
seen at least 3 instances - all after midnight.

I've found that it's possible to recover by dropping the original file
back where myth will look (may be .mpg instead of .ts) and doing
'mythtranscode -m', without applying the cutlist, before re-using the PX
script.

Today I tried --honorcutlist instead and got the old, old, 'one buffer
is full...' failure. As it was I saw a lot of complaints about invalid
timestamps, I think during the seektable rebuilding phase, but the end
result seems fine.

I suppose it should be possible to patch PX to treat a backward jump in
pts as mythtranscode now does - but I haven't tried that.

Very much a corner-case, but I thought it worth noting.
