[mythtv-users] LIRC not detecting certain keypresses with MCE remotes (modifiers?)

sorry, that wasnt overly clear... the 2 IR devices i have according to ir-keytable are both with the built in NUC IR reciever, i dont have a seperate USB IR dongle.
# ir-keytable -d /dev/input/event4

# ir-keytable -d /dev/input/event5
Name: MCE IR Keyboard/Mouse (ite-cir)
bus: 0, vendor/product: 0000:0000, version: 0x0000

I'm trying to get lirc/mythtv to respond to the event5 MCE IR Keyboard/Mouse.
