[mythtv-users] how properly to rescan channels

On the basis of this I have tried answering
"no, I know what I am doing" (as if...)
and closed the back-end setup.

End result...
I no longer can watch live tv on any channel, meaning also I can't record
anything.

With "watch tv" I just get a brief flick of "please wait" and it reverts to
the main frontend menu, without ever displaying a picture.


So this question still stands:
