Yes that's helpful to c.f. new models with older cards in common use..

GT240 304 driver:
H264 DECODING (1920x1080): 66 frames/s
MIXER TEMPORAL_SPATIAL (1920x1080): 312 fields/s
(adv x2 de-interlacing)
MIXER TEMPORAL_SPATIAL + HQSCALING (720x576 video to 1920x1080 display):
515 fields/s

GTX650 343 driver:
MIXER TEMPORAL_SPATIAL (1920x1080): 500 fields/s

The new cards are at least (x2) faster decoders but the GT240 does play
1080p120 at 90fps (in mythtv) so results of qvdpautest may only be
directly comparable to it self.

The other issues with looking for replacement card (future proof) are:
- 4K rendering & output capable
- 4K film v.s. 4K video resolution capable
- 4K 60p over HDMI &/or displayport
- 4K H264 vdpau decoding
- HEVC decoding
- 4K HEVC decode
- low power maxwell or better..
The above card does not yet exist & only GTX960 ticks most of the list.
